Prosperity Bank’s MasterMoney Debit card is even better than checks - Even better than your ATM card - Even better than cash! The MasterCard logo transforms a standard ATM card into a MasterMoney Debit Card. Use it to shop wherever Debit MasterCard is accepted (at over 12 million places worldwide) and the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your checking account. The MasterMoney Debit Card is faster and easier to use because it lets you access your checking account without taking the time to write a check or hassle with additional identification. You can even use the MasterMoney Debit Card the same way you use your ATM card - to get cash at ATMs.

- Since you're using your own funds, you normally pay no finance charges (if your checking account is linked to an overdraft line and you activate the line, the standard rules and fees apply to the amount borrowed).

In addition to your getting a sales receipt, your monthly checking account statement includes the date, place, merchant, and amount of every transaction. Instead of sharing one checkbook for a joint account, each person has his or her own MasterMoney Debit Card.
When you receive your new card, it's easy to activate it. Just sign your name on the back of the card, do any type of transaction at any ATM using your Personal Identification Number ("PIN") or call your local Prosperity Banking Center between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on regular business days. That's it! Once you've activated your card, you can begin using it immediately.
Debit Card Monthly fee of $1.50 ($12.00 annually if pre-paid) applies to all cardholders except Royal Account holders. A $1.00 ATM transaction fee (per transaction) will be assessed if you use a non-Prosperity Bank ATM. Royal Account holders are exempt from this ATM transaction fee.
